How To Get Unstuck
Isn’t it interesting that as human beings, we all seem to have the same issue?
We tend to get stuck repeating the same habits and patterns over and over again, even though we really want things to change.
For example, you know that you would love more money, to get back into the gym, or to meet the love of your life.
But you just seem to stay stuck where you are, no matter how badly you want things to be different.
Why is that? New York Times bestselling author, researcher and international lecturer Dr. Joe Dispenza says, "Same thoughts always lead to the same choices, same choices lead to the same behavior and the same behaviors lead to same experiences and the same experiences produce the same emotions and these emotions drive the very same thoughts."
It’s because 95% of our behavior is governed by the subconscious mind, and until we change its current programming, we stay stuck in a loop repeating the same patterns.
So any beliefs about your life and the world (paradigms) that are stored in your subconscious mind, good or bad, are running your life.
Your subconscious mind was a sponge when you were a baby, getting programmed from everything around you, and forming your foundational beliefs about the world.
But as an adult, you have the ability to consciously change your thoughts, and reprogram the subconscious mind.
Dr. Dispenza says, "As long as you are thinking equal to your environment, you keep creating the same life. To truly change is to think greater than your environment. To think greater than the circumstances in your life, to think greater than the conditions in the world."
The subconscious mind has no discernment, so it just takes in whatever you consistently give it and that becomes your default operating system.
When you think on the level of your current circumstances, you are feeding the subconscious mind that reality, and that is where you stay stuck.
For example, you may notice certain patterns in your relationships, money or health.
No matter what you do there may have always been a certain income level that you haven’t been able to get past, an exercise routine that you haven't been able to maintain or being in the same types of relationships with people that will never give you what you need.
Your current reality, then, can tell us what your paradigms are. Your life is a reflection of what you believe you can have, achieve, be and do.
In order to change that default operating system, you have to think thoughts beyond the level of your current circumstances.
When you consistently feed your subconscious mind with thoughts on the frequency of what you want, that will become your new paradigm and you’ll see new results in your life. Dr. Dispenza says, "Spend time contemplating who you want to be. The mere process of contemplating who you want to be, begins to change your brain."
That is why being aware of your thoughts is so important.
By thinking of yourself as the version of you that you want to be, who is living the life that you want, you begin to identify with that version of yourself.
Your subconscious mind forms a new belief (aka paradigm) about you, and you start to automatically operate as that person.
You carry yourself differently, notice different opportunities and make choices from that new paradigm.
Change your thinking to change your paradigms, and the results will follow.
